  • Monitor wind shifts off Turnagain Arm.
  • Report smoke immediately — even small columns.

Evacuation Guidance

If a wildfire evacuation is ordered, follow the READY · SET · GO framework:

  1. READY: Gather essentials, charge devices, monitor alerts.
  2. SET: Prepare to leave — vehicles loaded, pets secured.
  3. GO: Leave immediately via Seward Highway. Do not return until cleared.
